When selecting an aluminum cutting machine, match the model to your processing conditions and prioritize core configurations to balance precision, efficiency and consumable costs.

1. Clarify Processing Requirements

Workpiece Material

Air-over-oil machines work for 6063 window & door profiles and aluminum tubes. Hydraulic or servo feed machines are recommended for 6061 aluminum, solid aluminum bars and thick profiles. Floating clamping can be equipped for anodized profiles to avoid surface damage.

Model Selection (355 / 455 / 505)

Model 355: Small workpieces & sample cutting

Model 455: Window & door profiles, general industrial aluminum profiles (widely applicable)

Reserve a cutting allowance of 5–10 mm during selection. The processable cross-section will shrink if 45° angle cutting is required.

Semi-automatic: Manual feeding, easy maintenance, ideal for long workpieces and small-batch multi-specification production.

Fully-automatic servo model: Automatic fixed-length cutting with stable dimensional accuracy, suitable for mass production of short pieces. A zero-wastage model upgrade is available for costly raw aluminum to reduce material loss.

2. Core Configurations to Focus On

✅ Feed system: Air-over-oil offers high cost performance; pure hydraulic delivers powerful thrust; servo feed produces fewer burrs for precision cutting.

✅ Spindle: Integrated spindle with high-precision bearings and copper-wound motor is preferred to reduce vibration and cutting burrs.

✅ Machine frame: Cast iron frame provides better vibration damping. Fully-automatic machines should adopt servo motor + ball screw + linear guide feeding structure.

✅ Cooling & lubrication: Dry cutting is prohibited. Micro-spray lubrication is recommended; oil spray cooling is also optional.

Dust collector, front & rear material supports, touchscreen control system, safety interlock device (select as needed).

Bring actual workpieces for on-site test cutting to verify continuous cutting accuracy and surface finish.
